Fall 2026 Creative Career Pipeline Program by Creative Girl Connect | Deadline August 28
A ten-week experience supporting Black women creatives at every stage: interns (current students), fellows (0–4 years experience), and mentors (5+ years experience). The Creative Career Pipeline Program works with a wide range of careers and interests: social media, brand strategy, content creation, influencer marketing, and more. Program attendees build their skillsets, network, and experience in real time.
National Organizing Training by Native Organizers Alliance | Deadline August 28
A week-long gathering focusing on sharpening community organizing skills to grow effective grassroots campaigns and movements in an effort to build power in Native Nations and Native Communities. Participants will learn how to change political landscapes and meet the challenges and opportunities before them. Housing, transportation, and most meals will be covered by Native Organizers Alliance.
Saturday School by Black Feminist Future | Zoom | Deadline September 12 (begins 10 AM ET)
This leadership development series builds community organizing, educating, and advocating skills. Participants receive hands-on training and political education through interactive activities, learning how to host community pop-ups and phone banks, as well as understanding how to engage in legislative advocacy and public testimony.
Guggenheim Fellowship by Guggenheim Fellowship | Deadline September 15
A mid-career award supporting individuals across more than 50 fields from the arts to natural and social sciences. Approximately 200 Fellows will be selected following a highly competitive process (5% success rate) examining notable past works and accomplishments, as well as future plans.
Rise Justice Labs by Rise | Deadline September 18
Competitive, 12-week accelerator program that teaches attendees how to draft a bill, pitch reporters, build community, launch a campaign, and pass a law. Participants have the opportunity to meet legislators and gain access to Rise’s network of lobbyists, lawyers, lawmakers, funders, celebrity supporters, and media contacts.
Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowship by Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowship for New Americans | Deadline October 29
This fellowship provides merit-based funding for New Americans, immigrants, and children of immigrants poised to make significant contributions to US culture, society, and academia. Each fellow receives $20,000/year toward tuition (paid directly to the university) and a $25,000/year stipend (paid directly to fellows), both for up to two years.

College Prep Leadership Program by Seeds of Fortune | Deadline September 1
A six-month immersive and hybrid learning experience that helps students prepare competitive applications for college, as well as flourish during their college journeys. The program provides hands-on experience, mentorship, and guidance at Ivy League universities throughout the country. Participants have gone on to earn over $72 million in college scholarships.
Guitar Lessons in Los Angeles by Girls Make Beats | Tuesdays until September 22
An introductory course teaching the fundamentals of guitar playing and creating music in an engaging and supportive environment. Students will learn fundamental techniques and basic music theory, helping participants develop confidence and skill.

Black Girl Joy Challenge by Southern Black Girls and Women’s Consortium | Deadline September 4
Teaming up with Megan Thee Stallion’s Pete & Thomas Foundation to award 100 micro-grants to Black girls ages 13 to 24 across the South. Each $550 grant must focus on spreading joy amongst friends, family, and communities. Categories cover a wide range of possibilities: Joy in Health & Wellness, Joy in Personal Wellness, Joy Through Mental Health & Emotional Wellness, Joy Through Creative Expression & Arts, and Joy Through Physical Wellness & Recreation.
BGS Scholarships by BlackGirlScientist | Deadline October 1
BGS K–12 is awarding three $250 scholarships in support of your STEM journey. One scholarship will be awarded to each school level: elementary school, middle school, and high school.
