Funding for organizations and projects led by and serving underserved communities, including but not limited to Black women, femmes, and girls in Omaha, Nebraska. Do not need to be affiliated with a 501(c)(3).

Open Call for Alaska Native Food Sovereignty Projects | Apply by April 20

One-time grants from $1,000 to $20,000 for Alaska Native organizations, and organizations supporting Alaska Native peoples.

Building Bridges Documentary Fund | Apply by April 26

For independent documentary shorts, features, and series exploring the U.S. Muslim experience, with support for filmmakers at different stages of their careers, from emerging voices to established storytellers.

2026–2027 Rooted + Relational Community Micro-Grant | Apply by April 30

Up to 12 grants of up to $5,000 will support community-based projects led by organizers, artists, creatives, writers, agricultural workers, activists and cultural workers in Puerto Rico and across the United States and its territories.

Self-Defense Grants for MMIWGR Day | Apply by April 30

Xinachtli Comadre National Colectiva is offering $500 mini grants to support self-defense workshops for Indigenous girls and gender-expansive youth between May 5–31, 2026, in honor of Missing & Murdered Indigenous Relatives Awareness Day.

Marshal of Joy Ambassador Corps | Rolling

A year-long paid residency for Black Trans organizers, cultural workers, and public truth tellers hosted by the Marsha P. Johnson Institute.

2026 Giniw Collective Fellowship | Rolling

A three- to four-week fellowship with the Giniw Collective—a women- and two-spirit-led movement founded to protect Mother Earth, defend the sacred, and live in balance.

Sovereign Futures Talent Network | Apply by April 12

A national talent network supporting organizers, communicators, strategists, cultural or civil society workers, and policy practitioners whose work is vital to Indigenous sovereignty and justice.

Data Institute | Apply by April 19

A free two-week training program teaching participants how to work with data as a journalist, apply design principles and layout to charts or stories, and code interactive projects.

A New Flank of Generational Power: Youth Organizing in the Current Era | Happening April 22

Combining data-based findings from Funders’ Collaborative on Youth Organizing’s 2025 field scan with direct testimony and engagement from field practitioners, this four-part virtual series is designed to help funders understand the fundamentals of youth organizing in the current era.

Hispanics in Philanthropy’s Líderes Fellowship | Apply by May 31

A free five-week summer camp designed to empower girls in Los Angeles County, ages 11-18, to explore how STEAM can drive positive change to address environmental justice issues.

The National Museum of the American Latino | Apply by April 24

A nationally recognized program for rising high school seniors to foster the next generation of community-conscious leaders in the arts, sciences, and humanities via the Smithsonian Institution and its resources.

Root and Bloom Fellowship | Apply by May 6

The Root and Bloom Fellowship is an advocacy and power-building educational opportunity for farmers across the country, where fellows dive deep into the roots of federal agriculture policy and uncover how it shapes the landscape for young and BIPOC farmers.
