Through our four funds, we have resourced nearly 400 girl* of Color-led, or serving, organizations.

We recognize that our grantees are living at the intersections of age, race, culture and gender. Our four funds and initiatives were created to address the specific needs of the multifaceted communities we support, so they can thrive as the leaders they are.

Black Girl Freedom Fund (BGFF), along with the #1Billion4BlackGirls campaign, invests in the brain trust, innovation, health, research and joy of Black girls, femmes and gender-expansive youth.

New Songs Rising Initiative (NSRI)

The New Songs Rising Initiative (NSRI) in partnership with Seventh Generation Fund for Indigenous Peoples centers and supports Indigenous girls and gender-expansive young people through grantmaking and community building while embracing multi-generational healing and organizing.

Holding A Sister Initiative (HASI)

Holding A Sister Initiative (HASI), in partnership with the Black Trans Fund incubated at Groundswell, is the first national fund explicitly dedicated to resourcing and uplifting trans girls and gender-expansive youth of Color.

Love is Healing Fund

Love is Healing Fund is our primary grantmaking fund and we have granted over $4.3 million to more than 150 organizations in 29 states, Washington D.C., Guam, and Puerto Rico. Many organizations serving AAPI and Latina/e girls and youth are supported through this fund.
